Frank Smith’s new CD, Chasing Chances, is available at cdbaby.

Chasing Chances features Smith’s lyrical seven-string electric bass as he leads a group of top-notch Indianapolis jazz musicians. The album, co-produced with pianist Steve Allee, spotlights Smith’s own compositions. The bassist’s travels around the world inspired many of the jazz, popular music and Brazilian sounds on the new album.

Other artists on the CD are:

  • Kenny Phelps – Drums
  • Charlie Smith – Guitar
  • Kevin Kaiser – Percussion
  • Rob Dixon – Sax “If I Only Had a Brain”
  • Mike Stricklin – Saxes
  • Bethany Dunlap – Vocals “Serenade”

  • Mark Buselli – Trumpet and Flugelhorn
